The LEED program provides a system for certifying buildings for sustainable design, based on achieving credits in a number of design criteria. In the area of Indoor Environmental Quality, EA Group provides the following services:
Air Quality Management Plan During Construction (IEQ Credit 3.1): We work with the project team to evaluate construction plans and prepare plans and procedures for controlling air quality and preventing future problems during occupancy.
Baseline Indoor Air Quality Testing (IEQ Credit 3.2): This credit requires sampling and analysis of the building air from each HVAC zone prior to occupancy, and analyzing for a broad range of contaminants. We review the building mechanical plans, prepare sampling strategies and complete the sampling and analysis in cooperation with the construction team.
EA Group also provides Environmental Site Assessment and Hazardous Materials Remediation consulting to assist in achieving site selection and remediation credits.
