Employers are required to evaluate and control their employees’ exposure to hazardous substances, noise levels and other potentially harmful agents in the workplace. In the event of worker complaints, employers may be required to verify that exposure levels do not exceed established exposure limits. EA Group’s technicians and hygienists conduct exposure assessments to evaluate actual or potential exposures to asbestos, silica, lead and other metals, welding fumes, formaldehyde, noise levels and a range of other site-specific exposures.

Monitored sites include:
– Hospital and healthcare laboratories
– Manufacturing facilities
– Transfer and transportation facilities
– Construction sites
– Office and institutional sites

We can conduct a Qualitative Exposure Assessment to identify potential exposures. Sampling and analysis methods are then selected to measure worker exposures to the identified hazards. Sample analysis can be performed in our in-house laboratory, which is accredited by the American Industrial Hygiene Association Laboratory Accreditation Programs #100878 and the National Voluntary Laboratory Accreditation Program (NVLAP #101019-0).
