EA Group has a long established history of managing the removal of asbestos and hazardous materials from hospital and healthcare facilities. Many of the same site control methods used for abatement projects are now routinely employed for infection control purposes during renovation or other construction work in healthcare facilities. Our consultants work with the Construction, Facilities Engineering and Infection Control Departments, to provide direct monitoring and documentation of the site controls and procedures. We can prepare the Infection Control Risk Assessment (ICRA), provide routine monitoring and inspection, conduct air sampling as required, and intervene on a real time basis. Final inspections and reports provide permanent documentation that site controls were effective.
